The India Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) has issued a notification for Requirement of documents /exemption against certain parameters of ER of PON family Broadband Equipment under MTCTE including certain test parameters applicable to LAN Switch Essential Requirements (ERs).
These exemptions are applicable until 30 April 2026.
Applicable Products & Exempted Parameters
1. Fabric Interconnect Switch
2. SAN Switch
OEMs or manufacturer must submit an undertaking on the MTCTE portal confirming that the equipment does not support the specified parameters for the applicable entries.
