SRRC (State Radio Regulation of China) Type Approval is a mandatory certification scheme in effect since June 1st, 1999. It is regulated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). All radio component products sold and used in China must have obtained Radio Type Approval to demonstrate compliance to applicable requirements and standards.
Products that fall under SRRC regulation in most cases also fall under either China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and/or Network Access License (NAL) approval. It is important for the manufacturer to verify all applicable requirements beforehand.
