SIRIM (the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) has announced the replacement of the "trademark authorization letter" on March 14, 2024.
It will be replaced by the newly introduced "Intellectual Property (IP) Form".
This change is effective immediately.
Kindly refer to the following specified category of trademark declaration for Type Approval application for the applicability of the form.

Applicant had been authorized by the trademark / brand name owner. | Evidence of registration certificate issued by Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) or equivalent foreign organization; Intellectual Property (IP) Authorization Letter (eTAC/FOR/01-8)

The applicant did not obtain the written consent and authorization to use the trademark/brand. | Intellectual Property (IP) Undertaking form issued by the applicant (eTAC/FOR/01-9) |
The use of the forms shall be effective with immediate effect. We will provide the new forms when open new project.
