1.According to the previous announcement on the Security Requirements to Guard against Network Storms for Cellular Devices. The requirements under IMDA TS CD-SEC are applicable to cellular device which supports Section 7 on Connection Efficiency Requirements of the GSMA TS.34 guidelines, and also subject to compliance either with IMDA TS IOT or IMDA TS CMT.

2.Please refer on the timeline diagram below, all applicable cellular devices shall comply with IMDA TS CD-SEC before 1 July 2023. For existing registered equipment, equipment supplier shall submit an amendment application via GoBusiness Licensing (https://www.gobusiness.gov.sg/licences) by 30 June 2023 for compliance with IMDA TS CD-SEC and submit the Implementation Table and SDoC .

3.For existing cellular devices (e.g. M2M equipment and CAT-M1/NB-IoT devices) registered online previously, that do not support Section 7 on Connection Efficiency Requirements of the GSMA TS.34 guidelines, please also submit an amendment application by declaring accordingly and attached a Declaration Letter.
