The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has updated requirements for the following HS Codes. Valid SABER certificates with the HS Codes below will need to consider standards unifying port types for electronic devices and chargers for smartphones (SASO IEC 62680-1-2:2017; SASO-IEC 62680-1-3:2017) prior to August 1, 2024.

 SASO will begin reviewing applications on August 1, 2024, and certificate compliance must be updated by October 1, 2024.
