ANATEL released the new Act 13011 (2023) This new act postponed the date for Act 5159 to become in force, giving more time for charger’s manufacturers to meet the Act 5159 requirements. Most concern from manufacturers was due to the new mechanical testing applied to the power plug that goes to the electrical AC mains socket.
Thus, until April 14th, 2024 charger manufacturers will be able to choose approving their charger by the Act 3481/2019 (Old Act) or by the Act 5159/2022 (New Act).
